Czech municipal and senate election coverage features regional debates

TV Nova and TN Live are conducting extensive coverage of the upcoming municipal and senate elections in the Czech Republic, scheduled for October 9 and 10. The broadcast includes thirteen regional duels titled ‘Napřímo: Chcete být primátorem?’ and five major super-debates held in cities including Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Plzeň, and České Budějovice.

In Liberec, a specific debate features candidates Lukáš Hájek (SLK) and Zuzana Kocumová (Greens/Pirates). The discussion focuses on local issues such as parking, tax redistribution, housing, the state of the zoo, and the Market Square.

Following the regional debates, the network will provide live coverage on election day, October 10, featuring political analysts, economists, and commentators to provide context on polling and real-time results.
