Czech municipalities undergo urban park and square renovations

Municipalities in the Czech Republic are undergoing various urban renewal projects to improve public spaces. In Písek, Husovo náměstí is being renovated, with a focus on the park area. The project includes new paved paths, a renovated playground designed in consultation with local students from J. Husa Primary School, and the installation of an optical network to support future municipal monitoring systems.

In Pelhřimov, the Děkanská zahrada is also being revitalized. The first stage of work, focused on the former minigolf area, includes new fencing, retaining walls, and a network of paths to improve connectivity between the municipal market and surrounding streets. The project features a new pond and fountain that will be supplied by the nearby Belka spring, a more cost-effective solution than the previously planned water supply from the Strachov ponds. The first phase is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
