Czech museums launch interactive Story of Prague exhibit and new audio guides in České Budějovice
The interactive museum Story of Prague opened in the historic centre of Prague near Charles Bridge, offering a family‑friendly, edutainment experience that guides visitors through 800 years of the city’s history using visual scenes, augmented reality, and an audio guide. The exhibition covers periods from medieval legends and the reign of Charles IV to the 20th‑century occupations and the Velvet Revolution.
At the South Bohemian Museum in České Budějovice, the permanent exhibition "Příběh města Českých Budějovic" introduced new multilingual audio guides. Available in Czech, English and German, the guides provide detailed information at 29 marked stations, covering artifacts such as medieval helmets, baroque glass, and local historical objects, enhancing the visitor experience for both domestic and foreign guests.
