Czech musical events feature classical busking and multi-genre festivals

Various musical events are scheduled across the Czech Republic, ranging from contemporary classical performances to large-scale pop and rock festivals.

On June 2, 2026, Ensemble Opera Diversa will host a 'Busking' concert at the courtyard of the Institute of Musicology at Masaryk University. The event aims to bring contemporary classical music to an outdoor setting, featuring works by Vivaldi, Miloš Orson Štědroň, HK Gruber, and Ondřej Šárek. The program includes a Czech premiere of a composition by HK Gruber.

Additionally, the town of Vysoké Mýto will host its traditional Music Week from August 17 to 21. The festival, held at Přemysl Otakar II Square, features a diverse lineup including rock, pop, hip-hop, and country. Performers include Vilém Čok and Bypass, Děda Mládek Illegal Band, the rap group PSH, Imodium, and Eddie Stoilow. All concerts at the festival are free to the public.
