Czech national baseball team to face Germany in German Series

The Czech national baseball team will participate in the German Series, a friendly series against Germany, held in the Vysočina region. The matches are scheduled to take place in Třebíč on Friday, October 2, and in Olomouc over the following weekend.

National team manager Pavel Chadim noted that these games serve as preparation for the upcoming Premier12 qualification in China, which is the first step toward the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games. The coaching staff intends to use the series to test several new players, including Martin Pernička, Filip Kubíček, Marcus Weinzimmer, Tadeáš Zavadil, and Kamil Pejchal.

The series follows a tradition of alternating host duties between the two nations. In the previous year's series held in Germany, the Czech team won all three matches, contributing to their historic bronze medal at the European Championship.
