Czech national futsal team draws with Latvia

The Czech Republic national futsal team played to a 3-3 draw against Latvia in a World Cup qualifying match held in Opava. The match marked the first time the national futsal team hosted a game at the Opava multi-purpose arena.

Latvia took an early lead just before halftime, and the Czechs found themselves trailing 0-2 shortly after the second half began. However, the Czech side staged a comeback with goals from Seidler and two from Künstner to take a 3-2 lead. Latvia managed to equalize in the final minute of play through Üdris, resulting in a draw.

Czech coach Marek Kopecký noted that while the team showed resilience to overturn a two-goal deficit, tactical errors and a lack of intensity in the first half prevented a victory. The team now prepares for their upcoming match against Azerbaijan.
