Czech national parks face tourism and deadwood management issues
Czech national parks are facing challenges due to high tourist volumes and environmental management issues. Specific locations, such as Sněžka and Pravčická brána, are suffering from overcrowding.
To address these sustainability concerns, Minister of the Environment Igor Červený is establishing a working group. This commission will focus on making tourism within the parks more sustainable and will also address long-standing disputes regarding the management of deadwood, a debate that has persisted for nearly thirty years.
