Czech newspaper Deník presents weekly newborn photo galleries across regions

Deník has launched weekly photo galleries featuring newborn babies from several Czech regions – South Bohemia, Vysočina, Plzeň, Zlín, South Moravia, Olomouc and Prague‑Central Bohemia – for the 21st week of 2026. Parents can submit photos with a signed consent; the images are published online and in the printed edition. Each regional set of babies enters a weekly "most sympathetic baby" poll, with the top‑voted child advancing to a national final that crowns a "Baby of the Month".

The initiative aims to engage families, showcase new births and encourage community voting through the newspaper’s website.
