Czech oncology patients receive support through charity projects

Various charitable and artistic initiatives are being implemented to support oncology patients in the Czech Republic.

In Zlín, twelve female patients from the Tomáš Baťa Regional Hospital's Comprehensive Oncology Center have participated in a charity calendar for 2027. The project, which involved students from the Vizovice School of Clothing and Services providing photography, hair, and makeup services, aims to raise funds for equipping the center's inpatient ward.

In Prague, artist Eliška Soffer Podzimek has transformed the corridors of the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Clinic at Motol and Homolka University Hospitals. Supported by GHC Genetics, the new decor features characters from the upcoming animated series ‘Plešouni’ and motifs inspired by clinic life, such as animals and activities like canine therapy, to create a more pleasant environment for young patients.
