Czech organizations announce new leadership appointments

Several Czech organizations are announcing leadership changes effective September 1.

Zdeněk Jelínek, formerly the head of the civil aviation department at the Ministry of Transport, will become the new Director General of Air Navigation Services (ŘLP). He succeeds Jan Klas, who is stepping down to run for a Senate seat in the Kladno district. Jelínek brings extensive experience in both Czech and European aviation to the role.

In the media sector, Michal Pavec will succeed Matyáš Zrno as the editor-in-chief of Aktuálně.cz. Zrno will transition to a role focused on video content and authorial projects, including a new program titled ‘Střelnice’.

Additionally, Prague Airport has appointed Marek Zeman as its new Director of Communication and Marketing. Zeman, who previously served as a spokesperson for Prague 6, brings over twenty years of experience from roles at the Czech National Bank, AXA, and ING Bank.
