Czech para cyclists win bronze at World Championships in Alabama

Czech para cyclists Patrik Jahoda and Pavlína Vejvodová secured bronze medals in road races during the Para Cycling Road World Championships in Huntsville, Alabama.

Patrik Jahoda, the recent time trial world champion, earned bronze in the MH1 category. Jahoda described the race as a significant personal achievement, noting he had only returned to training three months prior following an injury. He highlighted the extreme Alabama heat as a major challenge, stating he nearly gave up before receiving assistance from his team.

Pavlína Vejvodová took bronze in the WT1 category, following her silver medal in the time trial. She noted the difficulty of transitioning from a time trial format to a mass-start road race.

While the Czech team saw success, Jindřich Mašín was forced to withdraw from the competition due to technical issues.
