Czech Para Hockey League prepares for new season kickoff

The new season of the Czech Para Hockey League is set to begin, with teams preparing for their opening matches. SHK LAPP Zlín has been training since mid-August and will face Sparta and Karlovy Vary this weekend. The team aims to reach at least the semifinals this season and will host their first home game against the Pardubice Mustangs on October 4.

Meanwhile, the Karlovy Vary Sharks are preparing to start their season with a rematch of last year's Superfinal against Olomouc. After finishing with a silver medal last season, the Sharks are focused on securing a playoff spot. The league is also transitioning from a single-game Superfinal to a multi-game playoff system, which team leadership believes will provide more stability and opportunities to recover from single-game errors.
