Czech Police Host Youth Camp Demonstrating Gear and Safety Tips

Police officers from the Ústecký region of the Czech Republic organized a day‑long camp for children in Libochovice. Participants inspected police vehicles, tried on protective vests and helmets, and experienced mock crime‑scene work such as fingerprinting and trace evidence collection.

The program also showcased a special bullet‑proof vest for a service dog, which attracted volunteers eager to test its functions. Police spokesperson Jaromíra Nováková gave safety advice on home security, online privacy and safe swimming. Children left the event with new knowledge, souvenirs and a deeper appreciation of police work.
