Czech and Slovak police investigate bomb threats at hundreds of sites

Police in the Czech Republic received a tip about a possible bomb threat affecting about 400 locations, including government offices and shopping centres. Authorities are contacting the operators of the sites and carrying out inspections during normal activity. The threat is judged to be of low seriousness and no arrests have been reported.

A similar warning was issued in Slovakia, where police also reported a mass threat to place explosive devices in roughly 400 buildings nationwide. Slovak police are following the same procedure of contacting owners and inspecting the premises, also deeming the risk as low. Both countries continue to monitor the situation but have not identified any concrete devices.
