Czech police launch manhunt for escaped prisoner from Poděbrady

Czech police have launched a nationwide search for 27-year-old Filip Flanier, who escaped from an unsupervised workplace in Poděbrady. The man was last seen around 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 6, wearing black work trousers, a grey t-shirt, and black work boots.

Flanier is described as approximately 170 cm tall with a thin build, brown hair, and blue eyes. He has prominent tattoos on both sides of his neck, his hands, legs, and chest. He is currently serving a sentence for obstructing an official decision and expulsion. Police noted that he may have headed toward Pardubice due to family ties in that region.
