Czech police launch nationwide search for missing mother from Frýdek-Místek

Police in the Czech Republic have expanded their search for Jana Šerjeníková, a 38-year-old mother of two from Frýdek-Místek, who has been missing since the morning of September 3. The search has now extended beyond the Moravian-Silesian Region to cover the entire country.

Investigators are concerned for her life and health, noting she likely does not have her mobile phone with her. Recent search efforts have included the use of police drones over the Olešná and Žermanice reservoirs, as well as inspections of mountain huts and cottages in the Beskydy area. Authorities have also searched medical facilities, shopping centers, and parks.

Police are specifically requesting dashcam footage from vehicles that were in the vicinity of Tolstého and Antala Staška streets in Frýdek-Místek between 9:00 PM on September 2 and 7:00 AM on September 3. While several witnesses have come forward following a public appeal, no breakthroughs have been made.

Šerjeníková is described as approximately 165 to 175 centimeters tall, with straight brown hair and green eyes. Her family has requested that the public refrain from spreading conspiracy theories or harmful deductions during the investigation.
