Czech political shifts in Ostrava and Příbram

In Ostrava, Petr Veselka, a long-time member of the ANO movement and current mayor, has announced his departure from the party to join the Motoristé movement. The decision follows a move by the local ANO organization in Moravská Ostrava and Přívoz to seek a new team for the city center. Veselka stated that while the decision was difficult, he intends to continue his political work for the city under a new banner.

In Příbram, the ANO movement has introduced its candidates for upcoming representation. The lineup includes Filip Ježek, a coordinator for social services in a non-profit organization; MUDr. Hlaváčová, a general practitioner focused on healthcare accessibility and social services; and MUDr. Barbora Daňhová.
