Czech poll shows slipping support for Babiš’s ANO among voters and graduates

A STEM agency survey conducted from 16‑21 June 2026 interviewed 1,352 university‑educated Czech voters. The poll predicts that ANO would receive 22 % of the vote (about 58 seats), while the centrist parties STAN and ODS each would gain 20 % (≈54 seats). The Pirates would obtain 10 % (≈23 seats), TOP 09 just over the parliamentary threshold with 6 % (≈11 seats), and KDU‑ČSL fell below the 5 % entry line.

A second STEM/MARK wave of polling shows overall satisfaction with Prime Minister Andrej Babiš’s government has declined. The approval rating dropped from 50 % in January to 46 % by late May‑early June, a nine‑point fall among the party’s own voters. Voter satisfaction with both the governing coalition and the opposition decreased, while roughly half of respondents expressed support for President Petr Pavel.

Both surveys indicate that while ANO remains the leading party among educated voters, its dominance is weakening and public confidence in the government is eroding.
