Czech public votes in nationwide pet photo and baby‑of‑the‑month contests

A photo competition for pets runs its first June round, inviting voters on Dotyk.cz and Denik.cz to choose the cutest animal for each weekly contest. Entries feature dogs, cats, birds and other companions, with winners progressing to a monthly final that will determine the “Pet of the Year 2026.”

Separately, a nationwide “Baby of the Month” contest has entered its May final, where infants that topped regional votes are now competing for the title “Baby of the Month May 2026.” The finalists include newborns from various Czech regions, each listed with birth details. The overall winner will receive a commemorative baby diary as a prize.
