Czech regional festivals celebrate beer and wine traditions

Czech regional festivals are highlighting local beverage traditions. In Benešov, the Pivovar Ferdinand brewery is hosting its beer festival, which includes tours of the malt house, brewhouse, and cellars. The musical program features the 80th anniversary of Big Band Pacholata, alongside performances by Oliver Kolka and various rock bands such as Detonátor and Lahvátoři.

In Frýdek-Místek, a wine festival is moving to the Nová Osmička area. The event will feature 15 Moravian and international wineries, including Hort Dobšic and Italian Prosecco producers. The program includes wine tastings, culinary shows, educational workshops on the health effects of wine, and folklore performances. The day will conclude with a concert by the Nedvěd band.
