Czech regional festivals draw hundreds of visitors with music and crafts

The Břestecký pinkl festival in Břestek, Czech Republic, attracted more than 800 attendees over two days. The program featured hot‑air balloon launches, archery, and performances by bands such as Fleret, Hop Trop, Samson and local groups, with organizers praising community support and new spectator facilities.

Meanwhile, the Horňácké slavnosti in Velká nad Veličkou drew thousands of visitors to a market of around 200 stalls offering traditional crafts, food and drinks. The event included folk music, performances in the historic church of St Mary Magdalene, and activities like a paid‑for luck draw, highlighting the region’s cultural heritage.
