Czech regions allocate over 60 million CZK for heritage restoration and rural projects

The Vysočina Region will contribute more than 21 million CZK from its heritage fund to repair 91 protected monuments, up from 19.6 million CZK the previous year. The largest single grant is 400,000 CZK, awarded to 11 sites including the early‑19th‑century Chapel of St. Wenceslaus in Hybrálce, whose roof and structural work will cost about one million CZK.

The Zlín Region approved over 42 million CZK for its Rural Development Programme, supporting 66 projects in small and medium‑sized municipalities. Funding will be used for public‑space upgrades, infrastructure such as parking and bus stops, land‑servicing for new housing, and the construction or renovation of cultural facilities and municipal buildings.
