The Olomoucký region announced a new grant programme to fund the repair and construction of sports venues. A total of 69 million CZK will be divided among 109 municipalities, clubs and physical‑education units that applied. Recipients include the municipality of Charváty, which will build a multifunctional sports hall, and Uničov, which will repair the roof and structure of its winter stadium. Smaller grants range from 1 million to 3 million CZK, covering projects such as new outdoor pitches, stadium renovations and training facilities across the region.
In the Vysočina region, the regional council approved a 300 000 CZK allocation for two Sokol unions. The Havlíčkova Sokol Union will receive about 80 000 CZK, while the larger Sokol Union of Colonel Švec will obtain roughly 220 000 CZK. The funds are earmarked for sports activities, youth engagement and the organization of events throughout the year, including cross‑country runs and swimming competitions.
