Czech Republic hosts various regional beer festivals and cultural celebrations
Various regional beer festivals and cultural celebrations are taking place across the Czech Republic.
In Plzeň, Pilsner Fest will return to the brewery from October 5 to October 10 to celebrate the 184th anniversary of the first batch of Pilsner Urquell. The week-long event features a new ‘At One Table’ concept, including a traditional toast at 18:42, musical performances, and brewery tours.
In Kaplice, a Bierfest was held at the site of a former municipal brewery that dates back to at least the 16th century. The event featured beer from the Habakuk microbrewery, which was founded by five friends and produces various lagers, ales, and cider.
Additionally, the Králičák region hosted a St. Wenceslas weekend festival. The program included a beer festival, local food, floral workshops, and musical performances, concluding with a traditional mass in Stříbrnice.
