Czech Republic industrial and retail park developments commence

Several new commercial and industrial development projects have commenced in the Czech Republic. In Přerov, the RC Zone Přerov project has received a final building permit. RC Europe plans to begin construction this autumn on the industrial complex, which is located approximately 300 meters from the D1 highway exit. The project will feature three halls providing 48,400 m² of leasable space for manufacturing and warehousing, with a total investment exceeding one billion CZK. The facility aims for BREEAM Outstanding certification and will utilize zero-emission heating and photovoltaic sources.

In České Budějovice, construction has also begun on a new retail park near Nové Hodějovice. Earthworks are currently underway on a multi-hectare site located near a major highway. The project is expected to be completed by autumn next year and may host tenants such as pharmacies, gas stations, or food service providers. Additionally, a separate retail park project, the Smart Green Retail Park, is being developed by SGRP ČB near the Složiště area.
