Czech Republic hosts diverse regional festivals and cultural events

Various regional events and cultural activities are scheduled across the Czech Republic for the upcoming weekend in September.

In the Moravian and Bohemian regions, festivities include the Tvarůžky cheese harvest in Loštice, onion celebrations in Račice, and traditional potato festivals in Třebíč and Eden. Other notable events feature the 100th anniversary of the Bílina fire brigade, a firefighter festival in Chomutov, and the Žatec cultural and landscape celebrations marking its UNESCO heritage status.

In other areas, visitors can attend the European Philosophy Festival in Velké Meziříčí, a pottery fair in Kunštát, and a mushroom exhibition in Jemnice. Cultural programming also includes the return of a controversial debate show to ČT1 and various wellness and active lifestyle programs in Mariánské Lázně.
