Czech Republic regional newborn photo contest engages families and voters

Newborns from the Central Bohemian, Hradec Králové and Pardubice regions are featured in weekly photo galleries published by a Czech daily. Parents submit photographs with signed consent, after which the images appear online and in the paper.

Readers can vote for the "most sympathetic baby" each week. The weekly winner advances to a monthly national final, where the overall "Baby of the Month" is selected. The contest runs throughout June 2026 and encourages fair voting by requiring user registration.
