Czech Republic unveils family holiday guides for mountains and pools

The destination agency for the Krkonoše region launched a new website that consolidates dozens of family‑friendly hiking routes, a stamp‑collecting game covering 44 mountain sites and ready‑made day‑trip plans. The initiative is aimed at helping parents choose activities that suit children’s abilities and interests throughout the summer holidays.

A separate travel guide compiled thirteen of the country’s most appealing swimming‑pool and open‑water sites, ranging from the historic Jičín pool in the Czech Paradise to the heated complexes in Mladá Boleslav, the clear lakes of the Veselí sand‑quarries, the classic Jureč municipal pool near Prague, and the lakeside resort at Pasohlávky. Each location offers facilities such as slides, children’s areas, and on‑site dining, providing varied options for families seeking water‑based recreation.
