While much of the sorting for paper and plastics remains manual, glass processing increasingly utilizes automated lines to meet strict purity requirements. In Brno, the first fully automated sorting line in the Czech Republic is operational, using optical sensors to identify and separate plastic, paper, and metal packaging more accurately than manual labor.
