Czech Republic weather forecast predicts heat spike followed by storms

The Czech Republic is set to experience significant weather fluctuations as August concludes. After a period of temperature contrasts and record low maximums in the northeast, a brief period of heat is expected.

Meteorologists predict a warming trend starting Thursday, with Friday potentially reaching tropical temperatures. While some models suggest highs between 25 and 29 degrees Celsius, other forecasts indicate temperatures could reach up to 34 degrees Celsius in southern Moravia.

This warm spell will be short-lived. A significant cold front approaching from the west is expected to arrive by Friday afternoon in Bohemia and move toward Moravia by the weekend. This front will bring heavy rain, frequent showers, and potentially strong thunderstorms, followed by a sharp drop in temperatures.
