Czech Republic weather forecast predicts cooling and increased precipitation

The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ) has released a long-term weather forecast for the upcoming month, predicting temperatures that are average or slightly below average. While the current week is expected to feature typical autumn conditions with cold mornings and sunny afternoons, a cooling trend with potential rain or showers is anticipated over the weekend.

In the second half of the period, meteorologists expect increased precipitation. In mountainous regions, snowfall is likely, and snow cover may persist for several days. Maximum temperatures are expected to hover around 10 degrees Celsius, with minimums dropping to between 4 degrees and the freezing point, though frost may occur on certain days.

Due to these fluctuating autumn temperatures, experts advise caution regarding balcony plant care. Rapid changes in temperature and moisture levels can affect potted plants more significantly than garden plants due to limited substrate volume. It is recommended to monitor soil moisture rather than following a rigid watering schedule.
