Central Europe weather transition brings fog, rain and variable temperatures

Central Europe is experiencing a transition into autumn weather, characterized by fluctuating temperatures, fog, and varying precipitation levels across several countries.

In Germany, specifically in Bavaria, level 1 fog warnings have been issued for numerous districts, with visibility potentially dropping below 150 meters. In Austria, regions like Carinthia are seeing sunny spells with temperatures reaching 25 degrees Celsius, though clouds and showers are expected in the northwest. Switzerland is also seeing warm, dry conditions with temperatures up to 28 degrees Celsius.

In the Czech Republic, meteorologists predict a mix of sun and rain. While some days will see temperatures rise above 20 degrees Celsius, others will bring rain, showers, or even thunderstorms. Long-term forecasts suggest a potential sharp cooling toward the end of September, with night temperatures approaching zero and possible snow in higher elevations.

Hungary is also seeing variable early autumn weather, with daytime highs typically ranging between 20 and 27 degrees Celsius. Forecasts indicate periods of sunshine interspersed with scattered showers and thunderstorms, particularly in the western and central regions.
