Czech swimming facilities undergo seasonal maintenance and upgrades

Public swimming facilities in Rokycany and Bohumín are undergoing seasonal maintenance and renovations to prepare for the autumn season.

The Rokycany pool is reopening following a cleaning and modernization period that included repairs to the entrance hall and technological components. The facility will resume regular hours from 9:00 to 21:00, with morning fitness swimming scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays starting September 3. The Finnish sauna will also return to standard operation with specific gender-based scheduling.

In Bohumín, the aquacentrum will be closed from September 1 to September 20 for extensive upgrades. Managed by Bospor, the project includes a 1.8 million CZK renovation of the women's showers, featuring new tiling, plumbing, and electrical installations. Additionally, a 500,000 CZK technical maintenance project will replace the sand filtration media in the facility's four large filters.
