Czech Telecommunication Office reallocates TV frequencies
The Czech Telecommunication Office has decided to reallocate television frequencies to expand coverage and support regional broadcasting. This shift involves repurposing frequencies previously intended for development multiplexes 25 and 26 to better cover television signals.
As a result of these changes, viewers using traditional antenna connections may experience temporary signal loss or find that certain channels are no longer available on their current settings. To restore access to programs, households may need to perform a manual or automatic re-tuning of their television sets. This transition is intended to create more opportunities for network operators and improve the reach of regional television stations.
