Czech Television (ČT) has unveiled its holiday programming schedule, headlined by the premiere of the fairy tale “Krakonoš a básník”. This film serves as a sequel to the highly successful “Krakonošovo tajemství”, which drew over 3.6 million viewers in 2022.

In addition to the Krakonoš sequel starring David Švehlík, the festive lineup includes classic films such as “Tři oříšky pro Popelku” and “Pelíšky”. The broadcaster will also air a new fairy tale in Czech Sign Language, “Poslední sudička”, on Christmas Eve.

The schedule features various musical events, including the 36th annual Advent Concerts held at locations such as the Břevnov Monastery and Kutná Hora, as well as New Year's Eve specials and sports coverage including the U20 Ice Hockey World Championship and alpine skiing.
