Czech Television crime series Hec attracts over one million viewers
The new Czech Television crime series, Hec, achieved significant viewership success following its premiere on October 25. According to ATO-Nielsen data, the program attracted 1,032,000 viewers aged 15 and older, winning its time slot across all major demographic groups.
The plot centers on the investigation of human remains discovered in the ruins of a 16th-century wooden church, which was burned down by local teenagers. Captain Alena Kočí, played by Petra Hřebíčková, leads the investigation in the village of Kouty.
Despite the strong debut, the series is scheduled to conclude after six episodes. If viewership remains consistent, the finale is expected to air on November 29, just before the Advent season. The series will also be available for streaming via the iVysílání service.
