Czech Television introduces new Sunday political debate format

Czech Television (ČT) has announced a new format for its Sunday political debate, scheduled to premiere on August 30. The program replaces the former “Otázky Václava Moravce” and will feature a dual-channel approach.

The main political discussion will air on ČT1 from 12:00 to 13:00, moderated by Jana Peroutková and Lukáš Dolanský. This will be supplemented by an analytical segment on ČT24, running from 11:30 to 14:00. The analytical portion, led by Jiří Václavek and Daniel Takáč, will provide expert context, economic analysis, and real-time commentary on the political arguments presented.

The new format utilizes two studios located at Kavčí hory and incorporates interactive elements to allow additional guests to join the broadcast.
