Czech Television moderator faces ethical scrutiny

Former tennis player Bohdan Ulihrach, a moderator for Czech Television, is facing criticism regarding the broadcaster’s ethical code. The controversy stems from social media comments Ulihrach made concerning Marek Stoniš, the editor-in-chief of TO magazine, and his family.

Ulihrach reportedly suggested on Facebook that the Štvanice tennis venue required immediate disinfection following the family's presence at a WTA women's tournament in August. Critics argue that such remarks are intolerant and violate the professional and moral standards required of public service broadcasters, who are expected to maintain high ethical responsibilities when addressing large audiences.
