Czech television networks compete for viewership and adjust programming

Czech television networks are experiencing significant shifts in viewership and programming. Prima has seen success with the return of the reality show ‘Zrádci’ and the family drama ‘Polabí’. In a recent ratings battle, Prima’s evening programming secured the top spot among viewers aged 15+ with a 20.37 percent share, narrowly beating Nova’s new series, which held a 19.12 percent share. However, Nova maintained a lead in the key 15–54 demographic with 22.15 percent compared to Prima’s 13.8 percent.

Meanwhile, Česká televize adjusted its weekend schedule to provide live coverage of NATO Days and the Czech Air Force Days. The broadcast, originating from Leoš Janáček Airport in Ostrava, replaced traditional afternoon programming to offer real-time coverage of the military event.
