Czech Television releases archival footage of Zdeněk Pohlreich and Jiřina Bohdalová

Czech Television has released archival footage from 1996 featuring chef Zdeněk Pohlreich and actress Jiřina Bohdalová. The footage originates from the popular program Receptář, hosted by Přemek Podlaha.

At the time, Pohlreich was 39 years old and served as a supervisor for a segment where celebrities prepared recipes. In the video, Bohdalová prepares a dish she calls ‘paví oka’ (peacock eyes), which consists of turkey meat stuffed with cheese and either peeled kiwi or banana, then breaded and fried.

Pohlreich recalled the experience with a smile, noting that he was tasked with visiting the kitchens of famous personalities to oversee their cooking. Other figures, such as Jan Rosák and Dáša Veškrnová, also appeared in the segment under his supervision.
