Czech television viewership highlights romantic comedy and new crime series

The romantic comedy ‘Sladký život’ (Sweet Life), directed by Tomáš Hoffman, drew over 520,000 viewers to TV Nova on Friday, October 23. The film, starring Vladimír Polívka and Petra Hřebíčková, performed strongly in the 15–54 and 18–69 age demographics, outperforming other prime-time programming in those categories.

In a different programming development, the new six-part crime mini-series ‘Hec’ is set to premiere on Czech Television. Directed by Michal Samir and starring Petra Hřebíčková, the series follows a police investigator returning to her hometown to investigate a tragic event involving a burned-down 16th-century church and the discovery of human remains.
