Czech theaters announce upcoming productions and 2027 seasons

Several Czech theaters have announced upcoming performances and new seasonal programming. Divadlo Gong in Prague will host a series of productions from October 19 to 24, 2026, including comedies such as ‘Normální debil’ by Norbert Intribus and ‘Cavewoman’ starring Daniela Choděrová, as well as ‘Dokud nás milenky nerozdělí’ featuring Vladimír Kratina.

Slovácké divadlo in Uherské Hradiště is preparing for several major releases. The theater will premiere ‘Dogville’, a stage adaptation of Lars von Trier’s film, directed by Tereza Říhová and starring Klára Vojtková. Additionally, the theater has unveiled its 2027 subscription lineup, highlighted by the world premiere of the detective thriller ‘Schovej se do tmy’ by Jan Šotkovský, directed by Mikoláš Tyc and starring Zdeněk Trčálek.
