Czech towns Domažlice and Lovosice boost youth football with new pitch and equipment

The football club TJ Jiskra Domažlice plans to build a new 100 × 45 m training ground beside the town's winter stadium. The project, estimated at 13.552 million CZK, will rely on a subsidy from the Czech Football Association and a municipal contribution of at least 20 percent, as confirmed by mayor Stanislav Antoš and club representative Ivan Rybár.

In Lovosice, FK ASK Lovosice obtained a 50,000 CZK grant from the retailer PENNY under the "Sousedem hezky česky" programme. The money funded new jerseys for two youth age groups and modern aluminium training goals, praised by club chairman Viktor Stránský and PENNY employee Lukáš Volák, who initiated the application.

Both initiatives aim to improve conditions for children aged four and up, addressing growing demand for local football training facilities and equipment.
