Czech towns host dozens of festivals and cultural events over July 17‑19 weekend

Across the Czech Republic, dozens of towns and cities are holding a wide range of cultural and recreational events from Friday 17 July to Sunday 19 July. In Miroslav, the Meruňkobraní fair features traditional crafts, music, historic reenactments and a contest for eating apricot dumplings. Znojmo celebrates its 800‑year anniversary with a baroque opera‑ballet and open‑air concerts at local vineyards, while nearby vineyards host performances by Slovak band No Name and Czech legends Olympic.

Regional festivals include folk and country gatherings such as Hrošení na Řece, the Guláš Fest in Štoky, and the Hrom do Police country festival.
