Czech towns host medieval and folklore cultural festivals

Various cultural festivals are taking place in the Czech Republic, featuring historical reenactments and regional folklore.

Velešín will host a medieval-themed celebration featuring knights, jesters, and falconers. The event includes a walking tournament, historical music, and a fire juggling show. Visitors can also participate in interactive activities such as archery, viewing historical armor, and minting historical coins.

In Zábřeh, the Setkání Hanáků festival will feature hundreds of participants in traditional costumes. The program includes a procession known as the ‘ride of kings,’ performances by Haná folklore ensembles, and concerts. The festival also offers a craft market, regional products, and museum exhibitions, with free admission for all attendees.
