A decaying cinema in Nové Město is being transformed into a world‑unique cinema‑hotel, offering lodging alongside film screenings. The redevelopment aims to revitalize the historic building and create a new cultural attraction.

In Uherské Hradiště, the 52nd Summer Film School set up two open‑air cinemas for the public. One venue on Masaryk Square shows contemporary titles such as the body‑horror "Substance" and other recent releases. The second venue in Smetanovy Gardens focuses on classic cinema, featuring films like the Czech silent "Bílý ráj", German expressionist "Nosferatu" and other vintage works.
