Czech towns Přibyslav and Plzeň unveil new sports facilities

Construction of a new tribune at the football stadium in Přibyslav is progressing as planned. Workers are completing the lower level, which will house changing rooms, offices, a medical clinic, a club room and a buffet. The tribune will provide covered seating for spectators and is financed by the city at an estimated cost of 70 million Czech crowns. The upgrade aims to bring SK Přibyslav, a 6th‑league team, back to a modern home venue.

In Plzeň, a unique training complex has been completed featuring an artificial hill with a 10‑metre high, 177‑metre long tartan track set at a 38 percent gradient. Designed by architect Daniel Němeček, the facility includes a curved roof, multiple indoor tracks, dressing rooms and parking. It is intended to improve sprint and endurance training for the AK Škoda athletics club and will host the upcoming national athletics championships.
