The ski area at Paradráha near Trutnov has received a new public toilet building costing 3.3 million Czech crowns. The facility offers separate restrooms for women, men and people with disabilities, a changing table, lockable storage lockers and barrier‑free access. It is free to use year‑round and was funded partly by a 2.7 million‑crown grant from the State Environmental Fund.

In Brno, a large multi‑purpose sports hall is set to open at the end of August after final inspections. The 160 million‑crown complex includes a 26 × 46 m arena suitable for floorball, futsal, volleyball and other indoor sports, a gym, a multifunctional hall, seating for up to 300 spectators and extensive support facilities. Demand for the hall’s rental slots is high, with local teams already booking dates well in advance.
