Czech Triathlon Cup races in Most and Morkovice draw strong fields
On Sunday 19 July, the TRIATLON MOST – Middle distance 2026 took place at Lake Most. The race, part of the Czech Cup long‑distance series, featured a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km bike loop on closed roads and a 21.1 km run split into three laps. The event offered a 10,000 CZK prize for the overall men’s and women’s winners and attracted the country’s top triathlon athletes.
Later in the season, the Morkovice Cup saw 207 competitors finish across all categories. Marek Svoboda defended his title with a total time of 56:06, while Monika Anderlová won the women's race in 1:00:50. The course comprised a 200‑metre swim, a 20 km bike leg and a 5 km run, with variable wind and temperature affecting cyclists and runners. The three‑person relay was won by M‑sport (Jiří Mitáček, Marek Vykoukal, Josef Veselý).
