Czech TV Prima moves to summer programming, cancels 'Kamarádi' and cues new series

Czech commercial broadcaster Prima announced that its popular drama series Kamarádi will air its final episode after 100 installments and will be replaced from 1 July by the long‑running police series Polda as part of the regular summer schedule, which typically features lower viewership.

The network also confirmed that the third season of the detective‑reality game Zrádci and a continuation of the series Polabí will start in the autumn. Prima marked its 33‑year anniversary, noting its evolution into a multi‑platform media group that reaches millions across TV, streaming, radio and digital channels.

During the summer, Prima will broadcast family films from Disney, Marvel movies, and add Korean dramas to its Prima+ service, expanding its foreign‑content catalogue with titles such as Můj milý lháři and Beartown.
